RAL9002 (Grey White) is one of the most widely used and accepted standard color codes in the global color coated aluminum coil system. As a low-saturation warm-toned color between pure white and light grey, RAL9002 retains the brightness and transparency of light colors while avoiding the shortcomings of pure white, such as being prone to showing dirt and being highly sensitive to color differences. It has a soft and understated visual appeal and is highly adaptable, making it a benchmark choice in architectural decoration, industrial manufacturing, and home appliance ventilation fields, balancing practicality, aesthetics, and overall cost. It is also a core inventory color code for many global trading customers.

Color accuracy and batch stability are the core competitive advantages of standard color codes. Painted aluminum coil RAL 9002 is manufactured strictly according to the RAL international color standard, employing a fully automated closed-loop color matching system and online real-time color measurement and control. This ensures a color difference ΔE ≤ 1.0 within the same batch and a color difference ΔE ≤ 1.5 across batches, eliminating color gaps and uneven color distribution issues in large-area installations. Compared to niche custom color codes, RAL9002, as a universal standard color, boasts a mature and stable color formula with extremely low risk of color deviation. It allows for seamless color matching across orders from different periods, making it particularly suitable for continuous projects requiring long-term bulk replenishment and standardized mass-production products, effectively reducing customers' sampling, communication, and quality control costs.

Aluminium coil RAL 9002 is equipped with a complete industrial-grade aluminum alloy substrate system, which can be customized to meet different working conditions. Our standard substrates of painted aluminum coil cover three major grades: AA1050-O, AA3003-H14/H24, and AA5052-H32.

AA1050 pure aluminum offers excellent ductility, suitable for complex forming processes such as deep drawing and stretching, and is widely used in lamp reflectors and precision metal stamping parts.

AA3003 aluminum-manganese alloy boasts balanced overall performance and outstanding rust resistance, making it a primary choice for building envelopes and general equipment applications.

AA5052 magnesium-aluminum alloy offers excellent strength and salt spray resistance, suitable for coastal outdoor and high-humidity corrosive environments.

Standard product thicknesses range from 0.2mm to 1.5mm, with support for customized width precision cutting. Thickness tolerances are controlled within ±0.02mm, resulting in a smooth, wave-free surface suitable for direct integration with high-speed automated production lines.

The coating utilizes a mature double-coat, double-bake continuous roller coating process to create a long-lasting protective system. The coating undergoes a three-step process: chemical passivation pretreatment, epoxy sealing primer, and weather-resistant polyester topcoat, all cured at high temperatures. The topcoat dry film thickness is consistently 20–30 μm, while the back protective primer is ≥8 μm thick. The coating exhibits dense cross-linking and adhesion meeting ASTM D3359 4B standards. The coating does not crack or peel after bending or stamping. RAL9002's light gray base color possesses natural dirt and aging resistance. Combined with an anti-yellowing coating formula, it exhibits a color difference ΔE ≤ 2.5 after 1000 hours of accelerated aging under xenon lamp lighting, and shows no blistering or rust after 1000 hours of neutral salt spray testing. Under normal outdoor conditions, its appearance maintains its quality for 8–10 years. Minor dust accumulation and signs of natural aging are far less noticeable than in pure white, resulting in significantly lower maintenance costs.

With its strong adaptability to various scenarios and mature and stable quality, RAL9002 painted aluminum coils are widely used in building roofs and walls, exterior wall flashing, ventilation ducts, cleanroom wall panels, appliance housings, equipment covers, and modular housing manufacturing.
