3105 White Color Coated Aluminum Coil

Among the alloy systems of color coated aluminum coils, AA3105 significantly improves material strength while maintaining excellent formability by adding a small amount of magnesium to the aluminum-manganese system, perfectly balancing processing adaptability and structural rigidity. Combined with a mature and stable white coating system, 3105 white color coated aluminum coil becomes a mid-to-high-end material that combines consistent appearance, structural durability, and ease of processing. It is widely used in building decoration finishing, exterior wall cladding, roof cladding, and roller shutter manufacturing, making it a high-performance, cost-effective alternative to the general-purpose 3003 aluminum alloy in the global market.

The core advantage of 3105 aluminum-manganese-magnesium alloy lies in the synergistic optimization of strength and formability. Compared to conventional AA3003 aluminum alloy, its tensile strength is increased by approximately 20%. The tensile strength of H14 in standard supply conditions can reach 145–185 MPa, with a yield strength ≥125 MPa. The resistance to dents and wind pressure deformation is significantly enhanced, making decorative components and cladding panels less prone to deformation and bulging over long-term use. Simultaneously, the material retains excellent cold-working plasticity, exhibiting no cracks after 180° cold bending and a springback of less than 3003 aluminum. It is suitable for both on-site manual bending and factory roll forming, producing clear edges and dimensional stability after processing, requiring no additional shaping treatment. The 3105 color coated aluminum coil's standard thickness covers 0.25mm–1.2mm, supporting customized width precision cutting. Dimensional tolerances conform to ASTM B209 standards. The panel surface is multi-roll leveled, with a flatness ≤0.3mm/m, free of waves and warping, and can be directly integrated into automated continuous production lines.

White, as the most versatile finish color, requires extremely high resistance to yellowing and color difference stability in the coating. 3105 white painted aluminum coil employs a double-coat, double-bake continuous roller coating process, undergoing three steps of high-temperature curing: chemical passivation pretreatment, epoxy sealing primer, and weather-resistant polyester topcoat. The dry film thickness of the topcoat on the front side is consistently 22–28 μm, while the protective primer on the back side is ≥10 μm. Commonly stocked colors cover three major industry-standard color systems: RAL9003 Signal White, RAL9010 Pure White, and RAL9016 Traffic White. It utilizes a fully automated closed-loop color matching and online color measurement system, ensuring a color difference ΔE ≤ 1.0 within the same batch and ΔE ≤ 1.5 across batches, resulting in no color difference defects in large-area applications. The coating formulation incorporates anti-yellowing agents and UV absorbers. After 1000 hours of accelerated aging under xenon lamps, the color difference ΔE is ≤2.5, and the gloss retention rate is ≥85%. Under normal outdoor conditions, the color remains stable for 8–10 years. The coating adhesion meets ASTM D3359 4B standards, and the paint film does not crack or peel after bending and stamping. A 1000-hour neutral salt spray test showed no blistering or rust, making it suitable for outdoor use in most climate zones.

From an engineering application perspective, the 3105 white coated aluminum coil's performance is precisely positioned to suit forming and processing scenarios requiring rigid surface finishes. When used for architectural finishing, roof flashing, and door and window trim, the components exhibit superior rigidity, are less prone to deformation and warping during long-term outdoor use, and the white finish blends naturally with most exterior wall styles. When used for exterior wall cladding and cleanroom wall panels, the surface flatness is higher, resulting in a neat and uniform visual effect, while meeting the requirements of easy cleaning and mildew resistance in clean spaces. When used for roller shutter panels, it offers stronger wind resistance and is less prone to plastic deformation after repeated rolling. Compared to high-strength 5052 aluminum alloy, aluminum 3105 has a lower processing threshold and lower procurement costs; compared to ordinary 3003 aluminum alloy, it boasts superior structural performance and better durability throughout its entire life cycle.

The 3105 white color coated aluminum coil is rust-free for life, has low daily maintenance costs, and is 100% recyclable, aligning with the global trend of green building and low-carbon manufacturing. It provides global construction engineering and manufacturing customers with an advanced color-coated aluminum solution that balances quality, performance, and procurement costs.
