Wholesale Aluminum Gutter Coil Manufacturer

Aluminum gutter coils serve as the raw material for gutter systems, downspouts, and roof edge trim; they require precise specifications regarding alloy temper, slit width, and surface coating. As a specialized wholesale aluminum gutter coil manufacturer, BCM Aluminum primarily supplies 3105-H24 aluminum coils designed specifically for gutters, serving roofing contractors and gutter-forming clients across North America.

I. Alloy and Temper: Why Choose 3105-H24?

Gutters are constantly exposed to rain, thermal cycling, and snow loads. The material must meet three key criteria: sufficient structural rigidity to prevent sagging, excellent formability for bending and seaming, and stable resistance to rain-induced corrosion. BCM’s flagship aluminum gutter coil product uses the 3105 alloy—an Al-Mn-Mg series rust-resistant alloy. The H24 temper is achieved through cold rolling followed by low-temperature annealing, resulting in a tensile strength of 145–185 MPa, a yield strength of ≥120 MPa, and an elongation of ≥10%.

Compared to the H14 temper of similar hardness, the H24 temper exhibits approximately 20% less springback. This ensures angle stability after roll forming and prevents cracking during 90-degree bending or hem forming. With a neutral salt spray resistance of ≥800 hours, the material withstands corrosion from rain, acid rain, and the weak acids found in decaying leaf matter. For projects in coastal or chemical industrial zones, BCM offers an upgrade to 5052-H34 aluminum gutter coil for enhanced salt spray resistance.

II. Specifications Matched to Roofing Forming Lines

BCM gutter aluminum coils are available in standard thicknesses ranging from 0.4 mm to 1.0 mm, with 0.5 mm, 0.6 mm, and 0.7 mm being the most common for construction projects. Widths are slit to match the client's forming machine intake specifications, ranging from 100 mm to 1500 mm, with a slitting tolerance of ±0.5 mm. Thickness tolerance is controlled within ±0.02 mm, and surface flatness is ≤2 mm/m.

To suit standard North American gutter profiles—such as K-style and half-round—BCM offers precision slitting based on specific roll-forming line parameters, thereby minimizing on-site trimming waste. Inner and outer diameters, as well as coil weights, are optimized for container loading, with standard coil weights designed for easy forklift handling.

III. Surface Coatings and Color Options

BCM offers aluminum gutter coils in four surface finishes: mill finish, Polyester (PE), High-Durability Polyester (HDP), and PVDF (fluorocarbon). The mill finish option is economical and practical; when used with aluminum alloy gutters, it offers a service life exceeding 20 years.

Color-coated aluminum gutter coils utilize a "two-coat, two-bake" process. Dry film thickness on the top side is ≥16 μm for PE, 20–25 μm for HDP, and ≥25 μm for PVDF; the reverse side features an epoxy backer coating of ≥8 μm. Adhesion meets the Grade 0 standard, and T-bend performance is ≤2T. Colors are customized to match popular North American roofing palettes—including matte brown, charcoal gray, ivory white, and bronze (using Kynar 500/Hylar 5000 resin systems)—with a color difference (ΔE) of ≤1.0 within the same batch. Project experience shows that light-colored gutters maintain lower surface temperatures in summer, resulting in less deformation from thermal expansion and contraction; for coastal projects, PVDF coating is recommended to reduce maintenance frequency.

IV. Wholesale Delivery and Quality Control

BCM maintains an inventory of over 1,000 tons, with standard gutter specifications ready for shipment within 7–15 days. Each coil comes with a material certificate and test reports covering mechanical properties and coating specifications; heat numbers are fully traceable. We support trade terms such as FOB and CIF, and packaging meets export maritime standards: moisture-proof inner paper, stretch-wrap outer layer, and solid wood pallets. For steady, high-volume clients, BCM offers quarterly framework agreements that lock in specifications and pricing, thereby streamlining the ordering process. Our technical team can recommend the optimal combination of thickness, temper, and coating based on the client's local climate zone, gutter profile, and roll-forming speed.

V. How to Obtain a Quote

To receive a wholesale quote for gutter aluminum coils, please provide the following details: alloy grade and temper (default: 3105-H24), thickness, slit width, surface type and color, monthly or annual consumption volume, and destination port. BCM will provide specification confirmation and a reference landed cost within 24 hours. With the right choice of substrate and coating, a gutter system can remain leak-free and deformation-resistant with minimal maintenance over a service life of more than 20 years.
